While in 1956 Heinrich Besseler was confident that three further sets of parts were also in Penzel’s hand, more recent work has thrown that into doubt, and Bach Digital lists all three as "unknown copyist”:
Concerto no. 2 (BWV 1047)
Parts: D-B Mus. ms. Bach St 637 NOTE: the trumpet part is annotated “Tromba / ô vero Corno da Caccia.”
Concerto no. 3 (BWV 1048)
Parts: D-B Mus. ms. Bach St 638 (the source itself has the [subsequent?] attribution “C. F. Penzel / 1755 Lips”)
Concerto no. 5 (BWV 1050a)
Parts: D-B Mus. ms. Bach St 164
